Smile Spot Dentistry wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text.

What we aim for

We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard covers readable contrast, text that can be resized, pages that work without a mouse, and descriptions for images.

What we have done

• Every page can be navigated by keyboard, including the menu
• A skip link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight to the content
• Images carry text descriptions
• Text resizes without the layout breaking
• Headings follow a logical order so screen readers can move through a page

Where we fall short

We would rather tell you than claim perfection. We are working on:

• Text descriptions for a small number of clinical illustrations
• Colour contrast on some smaller labels
• Content supplied by third parties, such as our online booking tool, which we do not control

At our offices

Both the Venice and Sarasota studios are wheelchair accessible. If you need particular arrangements for your visit, tell us when you book and we will have them ready.
